Welcome to the PENDLE FOREST MRS homepage.

In common with most other model railway clubs and societies, the Pendle Forest MRS came into being to further the interests of a like-minded group of people. From the start, the Brierfield Model Railway Club (as it was then) catered, not just for the modeller, but also for the collector and indeed anyone with an interest in railways in general.

Within these pages you will find details of all layouts currently available for exhibition, each with its associated photo-gallery. The news and diary pages let you know what's been happening and what we've planned for the near future. You can also find members information including contact details where required. Details of special offers are posted from time to time, which may also include seats on one of the society's outings. Links to the websites of some of our associated clubs, both english and continental are also available.

Moving around the site is straight forward, as most pages can be accessed via the navigation panel above. Links within the pages can also be used, however, when visiting the gallery, a click on a thumbnail will take you to either the gallery for that particular layout, or, if already there, a full screen picture. A click on the full screen picture will return you to the previous screen.
