AVAILABLE NOW to book for your Exhibition
5 years under construction and now almost finished… A 24′ depiction of Trawden as it would have been built…
Although Trawden never had a railway…there were plans for a branch-line off the Colne to Keighley extension. This line over the moors to Keighley never got built, so sadly Trawden never got its branch-line. Our depicition follows loosely the plans that were made and a bit of licence as to how the town may have developed had the railway been built. The rows of terraced houses are modelled on those that are there to this day as is ‘Black Carr Mill’ [footnote- as of 2026 much of Black Carr mill has now been demolished and replaced with housing.
Trawden is now available to book for shows . Please get in touch if interested.
I have some new photos to upload for this…but for now….Follow our Facebook page for more pictures of this new layout
