Rock n Rail

A childrens entertainment layout, loosely based on a prehistoric Flintstones railway.

In a land that time forgot, where humans and dinosaurs lived and worked in perfect harmony, the quarry magnate Fred Rockalpine contracted his friend, George Flintson, to build him a moving road to transport his stone and his workforce to and from his quarry. The construction of the new moving road proved very successful and it became known as the ‘Rock ‘n’ Rail way’. The Rail way attracted a good deal of interest and soon a thriving community developed alongside it with the townsfolk making good use of this new facility to travel.
